Visa Requirements Waived for Saudi Travellers to Honduras

Visa requirements for Saudi citizens travelling into Honduras have been waived, according to the Honduran Deputy Minister for  Consular and Migration Affairs Antonio Garcia. This decision follows a recent meeting between Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji and Honduras’ Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Reyna. Discussions between the two officials encompassed strategies to bolster bilateral relations and enhance tourism cooperation between the two nations.

Over the past decade, the average number of visitors from Saudi Arabia to Honduras has floated around 450 per year. This decision aims to increase the number of Saudi tourists to the small Central American country in light of progressing bilateral agreements between Saudi Arabia and Honduras.
