The initiative to enable Egyptians residing abroad to import vehicles with zero customs has been extended for three months.
The initiative first ran from October 2022 until May 2023, and was later extended for an additional three months starting in September. The initial launch of the program resulted in $763 million in revenue from 151,000 expats, as reported by the Ministry of Finance.
