West Cairo matcha drinkers, your Matter fix is moving closer to home. Matter, Cairo’s matcha house known for converting coffee loyalists, is opening a new location at Arkan in Sheikh Zayed, bringing its green brews a little closer to the neighbourhood.

Matter has built its following around a matcha-led menu that puts a fresh spin on the daily caffeine run. Founded by Reem Hassan, a former professional coffee taster, the brand approaches matcha with the same attention to ingredients and preparation as specialty coffee, serving classic lattes alongside more experimental blends.
