Tabali & Buoy by Kiki’s Collaborate on a Curated Sohour Experience
The two distinctly different concepts are meeting in the middle, bringing their identities together for a dedicated sohour experience at Garden 8 in New Cairo.
Ramadan in Cairo always brings a new wave of sohour concepts, but this season’s collaboration between Tabali Bistro and buoy by Kiki’s is not a fleeting pop-up but a considered pairing. For Ramadan 2026, the two distinctly different concepts are meeting in the middle, bringing their identities together for a dedicated sohour experience at Garden 8 in New Cairo.
Tabali has long positioned itself as a go-to for traditional Egyptian comfort food, the staples that define a proper sohour table that you’d typically except. buoy (with a small b) operates in a different lane. Mediterranean fusion plates, restobar vibes, and a space built around upscale communal dining and energy.
At Garden 8, those worlds intersect during the Holy Month as a collaboration introduces a curated Ramadan menu that keeps flavours rooted in familiarity while placing them in a more polished, social setting. The collaboration shows up in crossover plates like the Eggplant with Pomegranate Molasses Foul and the Kiri & Pickled Lemon Taameya. With those placed alongside buoy-leaning additions such as Truffle Scrambled Eggs and Breakfast Tacos, everything you could crave is there for the taking.
Alternating live oud and kanoun performances shape the mood each night, adding a subtle layer of Ramadan ambiance without overwhelming the dining experience and complementing the space rather than dominating it.
Running daily from 8 PM until 2 AM throughout the Holy Month, the partnership combines Tabali’s familiarity with Buoy’s atmosphere into one cohesive setup.
