Youssra Returns to the Big Screen With 'El Sett Lama' on August 19th

Youssra is heading back to cinemas this summer with 'El Sett Lama', a social comedy arriving in Egyptian theatres on August 19th.
The film follows Dina El Kordi, a well-known television personality who launches a campaign encouraging women to speak openly about inequality and the challenges they face in their marriages. What begins as a call for conversation quickly snowballs into a national debate, drawing both passionate support and fierce criticism.
Joining Youssra is an ensemble cast featuring Majed El Masry, Dorra, Yasmine Raees, Amr Abdelgelil, Entesar, Donia Samy, Rania Mansour, Mohamed Gomaa, Mahmoud El Bezawy and Mohamed Anwar, alongside a number of guest appearances.
Directed by Khaled Abu Gharib ('Esabet Azima') and written by Kiro Ayman and Mostafa Badawy, 'El Sett Lama' is produced by Nada El Sobky and Rana El Sobky. The film joins a packed Summer 2026 cinema season, with several star-led Egyptian productions competing for audiences during the holiday period.
