Haya Jarrar Launches Handcrafted Furniture & Décor Brand ‘Romani Home

Dubai-based Jordanian creative powerhouse Haya Jarrar, founder and creative director of ready-to-wear fashion brand Romani, has launched a new sister company specialising in furniture and interior design pieces. From a new showroom in Dubai’s Al Quoz area, ‘Romani Home’ includes everything from lighting fixtures and coffee tables to sofas and chairs, all showing off Jarrar’s flare for a seamless and avant-garde marriage of design and functionality.

Immersed in the world of antiques from a young age, Jarrar recently undertook formal interior design training to hone her skills and allow her to bring her artistic vision to life. “When I took on the project to decorate my own house, I looked for something that I don’t want to buy, but rather create,” Haya Jarrar, Founder and Creative Director of Romani Home, tells SceneHome. “I focused on what’s missing and then I realised I was ready to launch my own furniture brand, with pieces that can make any home look different.”

Spread across the clean space of the showroom, the meticulously curated collection of handcrafted furniture and décor is open for viewing from Monday to Friday between 11 AM and 6 PM, inviting all those looking to add a touch of “rebellious sophistication” - as Jarrar calls it - to their homes.
