New Professional Learning Platform Launched for Saudi Designers

The Saudi Architecture and Design Commission has launched a new Professional Learning and Development Platform offering digital training for practitioners and enthusiasts across the Kingdom’s architecture and design sectors.

Developed in collaboration with the National Center for E-Learning through the FutureX platform, the hub provides courses, interactive materials, assessments and tools for tracking individual learning and professional development.

Users can maintain a digital learning record while accessing updated professional knowledge and standards intended to support continuous skills development.

Training covers areas including design excellence and innovation, cultural heritage and conservation, social impact and community engagement, sustainability, inclusive environments, business practices, technology in architecture and design, documentation and archiving, and contemporary design.

The commission said the platform is intended to strengthen professional practice and improve competitiveness by giving users a more structured way to develop skills over time.

Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Chief Executive of the Architecture and Design Commission, said the launch forms part of efforts to build an integrated knowledge system for national talent, with partnerships involving local and international institutions intended to support the quality of training.
