Sherief Elabd’s ‘Mental Wellbeing’ Ramadan Hike

Hosted in partnership between Eco Egypt Experiences, UNDP and the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, Sherif El Abd will lead a Ramadan Hike twice a week throughout the holy month.
Participation in the event is free and open to the public, although you will still need to purchase a ticket to the Wadi Degla Protectorate itself.
Cairo Veneers: Wood Veneer Workshop & Suhoor Night
📍 Al-Khalifa Community Centre

Delve into the history of wood veneer, its different types, and how it is extracted and utilised to create wooden boards at Al-Khalifa Community Centre’s upcoming ‘Cairo Veneers: Wood Veneer’ workshop. Guests will then be treated at night with a decadent Suhoor.

Mazra’a Network’s ‘So That The Birds Return’ Ramadan Film Screenings

Mazra’a Network for Arts & Culture and Fabric of Society are teaming up with The French Institute in Egypt to host a film program titled ‘So That The Birds Return’, which screens every Monday throughout Ramadan with movies like ‘Apoleon’ by Amir Youssef, ‘The Mother & The Bear’ by Yasmina El-Kamaly, ‘Escape to Berlin’ by Salma Elhossary, ‘The Last Day’ by Mahmoud Ibrahim, ‘Mango’ by Randa Ali, and others.

‘The Ramadan Relay Run’ by The TriFactory

The TriFactory, the sports platform behind many of Egypt's biggest events including the Pyramids Half Marathon, are headed East to Palm Hills Sports Club in New Cairo where they'll be hosting 'The Ramadan Relay Run'. Teams of four runners will compete to run as many laps as possible within a two-hour time frame (9 PM - 11 PM) for the ultimate prize.
