AI Multilingual Robot Deployed at Two Holy Mosques

An artificial intelligence-powered multilingual robot has been introduced at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to assist pilgrims and visitors with religious guidance, navigation, and instant translation services.

According to the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the robot provides interactive religious and informational content through a user-friendly interface designed to support visitors from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

The device introduces locations and facilities within the Two Holy Mosques, answers a range of religious inquiries, and offers live translation services aimed at improving accessibility for international pilgrims.

Officials stated that the deployment forms part of broader efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into religious and awareness services while supporting the digital transformation of operations across the Two Holy Mosques.

The presidency added that smart technologies and interactive digital systems continue to be expanded to improve the quality of services available to visitors, with the robot operating as part of a wider multi-service smart platform initiative.
