AI Number Plate Factory Launched in Fujairah With 3-Minute Service

Fujairah Police General Headquarters has introduced a fully automated, AI-powered number plate production system, allowing motorists to receive new plates in under three minutes. The service operates through a 24/7 self-service kiosk located at an Emirates petrol station near Fujairah Mall. It is described as the first system of its kind in the Middle East.
Applicants begin the process online through the Fujairah Police website or mobile application. Once the request is approved, a QR code is issued and used at the kiosk to retrieve the order.
At the kiosk, users scan the QR code, complete identity verification through facial recognition, select plate specifications, and receive the printed plates on-site. Available formats include small and long plates, with design options reflecting Fujairah’s standard branding.
Officials said the system is designed to reduce waiting times and eliminate the need to visit service centres by integrating vehicle services into high-traffic, everyday locations.
