AI-Powered Judicial Platform to Streamline Court Procedures in the UAE

An AI-powered judicial platform described as the world's first fully integrated system of its kind will be implemented by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to streamline court procedures while keeping judges solely responsible for all final rulings.

Designed as a decision-support system operating under full human oversight, the platform aims to streamline judicial procedures, improve operational efficiency and reduce litigation timelines across the UAE's justice system.

The platform will integrate AI into several aspects of judicial work, including the automated analysis of case files and legal documents, rapid access to legislation and regulatory frameworks, retrieval and comparison of judicial precedents, and AI-assisted recommendations and drafting of legal memoranda and judicial documents.

According to the Judicial Department, the technology is intended to enhance legal service delivery without replacing judicial decision-making, with judges retaining exclusive authority over all rulings.
