Absher Records Nearly 49 Million Transactions in September

Saudi Arabia’s Absher platform recorded more than 48.9 million electronic transactions in September 2026, according to the Ministry of Interior. Absher Individuals accounted for 46.3 million transactions, while Absher Business processed 2.6 million.

The most-used service was document viewing through the digital document wallet, which recorded more than 37.5 million transactions. Public Security services accounted for around 3.47 million transactions, including approximately 3.34 million processed through the General Directorate of Traffic.

The General Directorate of Passports handled more than 2.1 million transactions during the month, while the Civil Status Agency processed 570,520. Absher Individuals also issued 125,580 reports through the Absher Reports service and recorded 1,799 general fingerprinting inquiries.

Unified digital identities issued through Absher can be used to access Ministry of Interior services across Absher Individuals, Absher Business and Absher Government, as well as government and private-sector services connected through the Nafath national access portal.
