AlUla Launches App to Simplify Visitor Experience & Boost Tourism

The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has launched the AlUla App, a unified digital platform designed to give residents, visitors and the local community access to public services and information through a single interface.

According to the commission, the app enables users to access a range of digital services, submit and share information, and report violations through dedicated channels. It is also intended to strengthen communication between the commission and users through automated digital services, improving response times and streamlining access to essential services.

The platform supports the commission's wider smart city strategy by automating processes and using digital technologies to improve operational efficiency, transparency and service quality. The initiative is also expected to contribute to AlUla's position in global smart city rankings.

In addition to public services, the app provides access to tourism information, events, investment opportunities and updates on development projects, including the Journey Through Time masterplan, bringing key information for residents and visitors together in one platform.
