Dust Alert Issued for Saudi Arabia's West Coast Until July 1st
Strong surface winds are expected to reduce visibility along the coastal road between Jeddah and Jazan.
Dust-generating surface winds are expected to affect Saudi Arabia's west coast from June 24th to July 1st, with reduced visibility forecast along the coastal road linking Jeddah and Jazan.
According to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), the conditions are expected to be particularly pronounced during daylight hours on Wednesday and will persist throughout the week.
The centre warned that the strong winds could significantly reduce horizontal visibility, with some stretches of the west coast potentially experiencing little to no visibility during the alert period.
The forecast covers areas along the Red Sea coastline, with motorists travelling between Jeddah and Jazan advised to exercise caution as dust conditions intensify.
