Egypt Warns of Extreme Weather Fluctuations Over Next 72 Hours
In light of these rapid transitions, authorities have advised the public to exercise caution and monitor official updates.
Egypt’s Climate Change Information Center (CCIC) has issued an urgent warning regarding a period of "violent and rapid" weather fluctuations set to sweep across the country over the next 72 hours. Dr. Mohamed Ali Fahim, head of the CCIC - which operates as an affiliate of the Ministry of Agriculture - has warned that all four seasons will manifest within a single three-day window.
Atmospheric volatility is expected to begin on Saturday with a significant surge in heat, followed by a dramatic temperature collapse and rainfall on Sunday.
The cycle will conclude on Monday as conditions settle into an overnight cold, marking a return to winter temperatures. In light of these rapid transitions, authorities have advised the public to exercise caution and monitor official updates.
