Egypt’s Daylight Saving Time Will End on October 29th
Clocks across Egypt will be set back by one hour at midnight, with winter time beginning on October 30th.
Egypt will end daylight saving time on Thursday, October 29th, 2026, with clocks set back by 60 minutes at midnight as winter time begins nationwide on Friday, October 30th.
Under Law No. 24 of 2023, daylight saving time is applied each year from the last Friday of April until the end of the last Thursday of October.
At midnight on October 29th, clocks will move back from 12 AM to 11 PM, marking the start of winter time across the country.
Most smartphones and internet-connected devices should update automatically if automatic date and time settings are enabled. Watches and some other electronic devices may need to be adjusted manually.
