'El Sett' to Stream for Free on Shahid During Eid al-Adha

'El Sett' will stream for free on Shahid during the Eid al-Adha break as part of a wider holiday programming lineup announced by MBC Group. 

The film, which centres on the life of legendary Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum, leads this year’s free Eid selection on the platform.

Other titles included in the holiday programme are Lebanese comedian John Achkar’s stand-up special Am Jarib, the Saudi social comedy play 'The Seventh Floor', comedy film 'Fakhr Alsuwaidi', and a performance by stand-up comedy collective The High Five.

For younger audiences, Shahid is also making the animated film 'Maruko: Friend's Promise' available during the holiday period.

The free Eid programming continues Shahid’s recurring holiday-season strategy of temporarily opening selected titles to viewers across the region during major occasions.
