Foreign Company Incorporations in Egypt Rise 33.7% in H1 2026
A total of 5,022 foreign companies were established between January and June, up from 3,757 a year earlier.
Egypt recorded 5,022 newly established foreign companies in the first half of 2026, up 33.7% from 3,757 during the same period last year, according to figures published by the Cabinet Media Center.
Issued capital for newly incorporated foreign companies also increased, reaching EGP 21.4 billion between January and June. That represents a 20.9% rise from EGP 17.7 billion in the first half of 2025.
Across all investors, around 26,500 new companies were established in Egypt during the first six months of 2026, according to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, with total issued capital of approximately EGP 97.5 billion.
Domestic investors accounted for around 88% of that issued capital, while Arab and foreign investors contributed approximately EGP 12 billion.
