HRDF Supported Employment of 329,000 Saudis in First Half of 2026

Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources Development Fund supported the employment of 329,000 Saudi citizens during the first half of 2026, representing a 23% increase compared with the same period last year.

During the first six months of the year, HRDF provided around USD 1.3 billion in direct support to individuals and establishments enrolled in its training, empowerment and career guidance programmes. More than 1.69 million Saudi citizens benefited from the fund’s programmes over the same period.

The number of participating establishments exceeded 171,000 across the Kingdom, up 25% from the first half of 2025. Small, medium-sized and micro enterprises accounted for 95% of those businesses.

HRDF’s programmes are designed to help Saudi citizens develop skills and access employment opportunities, while also supporting private-sector companies in recruiting, training and retaining national talent.
