Hazardous Activities to be Relocated From Manshiet Nasser
In response to recent fires, the Cairo Governorate will move hazardous activities away from the densely populated district.
Hazardous activities operating in Manshiyat Nasser will be relocated under an urgent plan announced by the Cairo Governorate following a series of fires that have threatened residents and damaged property.
According to Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber, the initiative aims to eliminate the main causes of fires by preventing hazardous activities from operating within densely populated residential neighbourhoods. The governorate said the plan will improve public safety, protect lives and property, and reduce the risks associated with workshops and industrial activities located in residential areas.
The relocation forms part of a broader programme to redevelop unplanned areas and improve urban safety across Cairo.
