‘Masry Fel Khareg’ App Launches for Egyptians Living Abroad
The new consular services app is being piloted across 17 Egyptian embassies and consulates worldwide.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched ‘Masry Fel Khareg’, a new mobile platform designed specifically for Egyptians living abroad to access consular services and follow their applications through to completion.
The app is currently being introduced through a pilot phase across 17 Egyptian diplomatic and consular missions in Europe, the Gulf, North America, Africa and Australia. Participating locations include Prague, Houston, Rabat, Hamburg, Manama, Berlin, Doha, Pretoria, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Rome, Abu Dhabi, Chicago, Marseille, Brussels, Sydney and Melbourne.
Through the app, users can access interactive consular services offered by participating embassies and consulates, complete procedures and track each stage of their applications. The platform is available through the App Store and Google Play.
The ministry said the rollout forms part of wider efforts to modernise consular services and expand digital access for Egyptians abroad. Future phases are expected to add more services and introduce an AI-powered assistant to answer enquiries and provide guidance on consular procedures.
