Ministry of Endowments Launches Mental Health Programme for Women

The Ministry of Endowments has launched a new mental health support programme for female employees under the title 'Ihna Sandak', as part of efforts to provide psychological support and promote family stability.

Organised by the ministry's Equal Opportunities Unit in cooperation with relevant entities, the initiative aims to provide psychological and moral support to women working across the ministry.

According to the ministry, the programme will receive and address family and psychological concerns, as well as religious enquiries. It will also handle suggestions and complaints and provide guidance and support for those seeking assistance with family or mental health issues.

Details of the initiative have been circulated to regional directorates, sub-departments and ministry staff. Female employees can register and communicate with the Equal Opportunities Unit through its dedicated email address or by submitting requests and enquiries via a QR code.

The ministry said the initiative forms part of broader efforts to support women and strengthen solidarity and stability within families and society.
