A designated section of Port Said Beach will be equipped to provide safer access to the sea for people with disabilities.
An accessible route to the sea will be constructed at Port Said Beach after the Port Said Governorate approved a project to improve beach access for people with disabilities.
The initiative will create a designated and equipped section of the city's main public beach, allowing people with disabilities to reach the water through a safe access route. According to the governorate, the project is the first of its kind in Port Said and is intended to make the public shoreline more accessible.
Approved by Governor Ibrahim Ahmed Abu Limon, the project will include allocating and preparing a specific beach area for people with disabilities. The governorate has not yet announced further technical details about the route or its construction timeline.
