Our Family Album Invites UAE Families to Share Special Moments

A nationwide initiative is inviting families across the UAE to document personal milestones, everyday routines, and shared traditions as part of a broader effort to capture a collective portrait of family life in the country.
Titled ‘Our Family Album’, the project forms part of the Year of Family 2026 under the theme ‘Growing in Unity’. The initiative aims to gather individual submissions that reflect lived experiences within households, with selected entries set to be featured across national platforms.
Participation is open to all families residing in the UAE, with contributions submitted through an online form hosted on the official Year of Family website. Organisers stated that selected stories will be curated into a wider narrative showcasing the diversity of family life across the country.
Project lead Rauda Al Falasi said the initiative focuses on documenting everyday experiences that shape family connections, highlighting the role of shared routines and personal traditions in strengthening social bonds.
Submissions will remain open until June 30th.
