Paid Parking Expands to New Areas in Mohamed Bin Zayed City

Paid parking will be introduced in sectors ME9 and ME12 in Mohamed Bin Zayed City starting May 6th, 2026, as part of an expansion led by Q Mobility under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre. The rollout forms the third phase of a wider parking management programme aimed at regulating demand in high-traffic commercial areas and improving access to businesses and services.
A total of 10,205 parking spaces will be included in this phase, with 3,219 spaces allocated in ME9 and 6,986 in ME12. Designated spaces will also be available for People of Determination. Standard parking will be priced at AED 2 per hour.
Payments can be made through the Darb and TAMM applications, via SMS or using payment machines installed across the sectors. According to Q Mobility, the expansion is intended to reduce random parking and ease congestion in areas that see high daily vehicle movement from employees and visitors.
The rollout follows earlier phases of the programme. An initial free regulation period began in December 2025 across multiple sectors, followed by the introduction of paid parking in additional zones in April 2026.
