President El-Sisi Biography to Be Released for 30 June Anniversary

Egypt's National Press Authority is set to publish a two-part book documenting President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's life and political journey during celebrations marking the 13th anniversary of the 30 June Revolution.

Titled 'Man of Destiny: Biography of a Leader… Journey of a Nation', the publication follows El-Sisi's path from Cairo's Al-Gamaliya district to the Al-Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, linking his biography with major political, social and economic developments in Egypt's recent history.

According to the authority, the book brings together contributions from writers, thinkers and public figures, drawing on documented testimonies from individuals who supported the Egyptian state during the political and security challenges that followed 2011.

The first volume focuses on El-Sisi's early life, his rise to national prominence and the period surrounding the 30 June Revolution. It also examines the role of the Armed Forces and police, the state's campaign against terrorism and Egypt's diplomatic approach during subsequent regional and international challenges. The introduction is written by former interim President Adly Mansour.

The second volume, introduced by Pope Tawadros II under the title 'Human First', centres on development, social protection and legislative reform. It reviews state initiatives including the Haya Karima programme, efforts to combat poverty, illiteracy and disease, national infrastructure projects, and policies concerning women, people of determination and other groups. It also explores Egypt's cultural and sporting achievements and discusses the country's future within the framework of what the publication describes as the New Republic.
