PureHealth Commits AED 100 Million to UAE Orphan Endowment

PureHealth, a UAE-based healthcare group, has pledged AED 100 million to the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans campaign, becoming the initiative's healthcare partner.
The contribution will support the provision of healthcare services for orphans across the UAE through PureHealth's network of hospitals, clinics and medical institutions.
Organised by the Endowments and Minors' Funds Authority (Awqaf Abu Dhabi) in collaboration with Erth Zayed Philanthropies, the campaign seeks to establish a sustainable source of funding for orphan care through an endowment model that converts contributions into income-generating assets.
According to campaign organisers, the proceeds will be used to support long-term care and services for orphans across the country. PureHealth said its involvement builds on previous philanthropic initiatives, including participation in the Life Endowment campaign, and will focus on expanding access to healthcare services designed to improve wellbeing and quality of life.
Officials said the initiative aligns with the UAE's Year of Family and broader efforts to strengthen social support systems and community development.
Awqaf Abu Dhabi stated that partnerships with private sector organisations play an important role in creating sustainable support mechanisms for vulnerable groups, while the integration of healthcare services is intended to complement the campaign's financial assistance programmes.
Under the endowment model, assets generated through contributions will be invested to create a recurring revenue stream aimed at supporting healthcare, stability and long-term care services for orphans throughout the UAE.
