Riyadh Airport Resumes Domestic & International Flights
Terminals 1 and 2 are reopening for domestic and international services following recent disruptions.
King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh is resuming domestic and international flight operations on October 25th following disruptions linked to recent Houthi missile and drone attacks targeting the Saudi capital.
Under new terminal arrangements, Terminal 1 will handle domestic flights, while Terminal 2 will be designated for international flights operated by national carriers. Passengers with confirmed reservations have been advised to contact their airlines before travelling to the airport to verify booking status and flight schedules.
The reopening follows a temporary suspension of operations while aviation authorities carried out safety inspections after attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport and other parts of Riyadh. The General Authority of Civil Aviation said the suspension had been extended earlier this month to allow checks on airport facilities and operational readiness.
Recent attacks have also led to falling interception debris and damage around aviation infrastructure, with Civil Defense teams responding to incidents across affected areas. The airport’s latest advisory focuses on the terminal changes and passenger guidance as flight movements are restored.
