SAR 1.1 Billion Deposited for Saudi Housing Support in May 2026
The May 2026 deposit was paid to housing support beneficiaries to cover profit payments across financing programmes.
Approximately SAR 1.1 billion was deposited into the accounts of housing support programme beneficiaries in Saudi Arabia during May 2026 through the Saudi Real Estate Development Fund.
According to the fund, the amount was allocated to support profit payments linked to various housing support financing programmes.
Official figures released by the fund showed that total deposits made to housing support beneficiaries since the beginning of 2026 reached around SAR 5.4 billion by the end of May.
The Saudi Real Estate Development Fund also stated that its services continue to be offered through digital platforms, including the Real Estate Advisor service, which helps beneficiaries identify financing and housing options suited to their financial capabilities and personal requirements.
Established in 1974, the fund stated that more than 1.8 million beneficiaries have obtained their first homes through its programmes and support initiatives.
According to the fund, Saudi Arabia’s homeownership rate currently stands at 66.24%.
