The Arab Cycling Championship Returns to Syria After 19 Years
The Arab Cycling Championship returns to Syria from October 2nd to October 13th, with 14 countries competing across Damascus.
The Arab Cycling Championship will be held in Syria from October 2nd to 13th, marking the competition’s first edition in the country since 2007.
Events will take place across Damascus and Rural Damascus, with 14 countries participating: Syria, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Libya and Morocco.
The championship will include road cycling, mountain biking and para-cycling.
Participating delegations will begin arriving on October 2nd, with the opening ceremony scheduled for October 3rd and departures set for October 13th, according to Syria’s Ministry of Tourism.
