UAE Launches National Gender Balance Survey for Citizens & Residents
The survey is open to citizens and residents across all seven emirates and will help shape the UAE’s next gender balance strategy.
The UAE Gender Balance Council has launched the National Gender Balance Survey to gather public input for the development of the UAE Gender Balance Strategy 2027–2031.
Open to UAE citizens and residents across all seven emirates, the survey is aimed at men and women from different age groups, sectors and professional and life stages. It covers economic participation, career development and financial security, as well as social care and quality of life.
Participants will also be asked about future skills and how technology, artificial intelligence and wider economic shifts are affecting opportunities and career pathways.
The survey is available in Arabic and English, takes less than 10 minutes to complete and protects participants’ identities. Its findings will be combined with data analysis, stakeholder consultations and institutional and sectoral expertise to help identify priorities for the 2027–2031 strategy.
The council said the strategy is being developed with a focus on how changing technologies, working environments and economic conditions could reshape participation and opportunities over the coming years.
Results from the National Gender Balance Survey will feed into the wider strategy development process alongside other research and consultations.
