USD 2.1 Billion Jewel of the Bride Project Launches in Jeddah

A USD 2.1 billion residential development, ‘Jawharat Al Arous’ (Jewel of the Bride), is being developed in north Jeddah as one of the largest private sector housing projects in the country.

The project spans approximately 107 million square metres and is designed to accommodate more than 700,000 residents across 18 planned neighbourhoods.

The masterplan also includes 41 government-designated zones, over 80,000 residential and commercial plots, and a range of public service and administrative facilities.

The development is being implemented in coordination with Jeddah Municipality, with oversight from regional authorities in Makkah Region.

According to officials, the project includes a road network extending 1,344 kilometres, alongside infrastructure designed to support long-term urban expansion.

Plans also incorporate technical and environmental systems aimed at improving living standards and supporting future development in Jeddah Governorate.
