Women-Only Beach Park Set to Open in Dibba Al Hisn
A new women-only beach park will open in Sharjah’s eastern region with fitness and family facilities.
A women-only beach park is set to open in Dibba Al Hisn by the end of the week or early next week, introducing a fully enclosed coastal space designed for privacy, recreation and family use. The project, delivered by the Sharjah Public Works Department, spans 6,350 square metres and forms part of a wider initiative to establish three women-only beaches across the emirate, with similar developments underway in Kalba and Khorfakkan.
The site has been designed with privacy as a central feature, including a three-metre-high perimeter fence and a 200-metre rock breakwater that limits visibility from outside while reducing wave impact along the shoreline.
Facilities at the beachfront include a two-wing complex housing a fitness centre, a creative activity hall, a café, administrative offices, a clinic and a prayer room. The park also features a shaded children’s play area and a rubberised walking track running along the coast.
Marine safety measures include lifeguard towers, designated swimming zones and supporting service areas.
