Ahmed Razeek Wins Best Director at London Music Video Awards for BZNS

French-Egyptian filmmaker and creative director, Ahmed Razeek, has taken home the Best Director award at the London Music Video Awards for his work on BZNS, the latest music video by rising artist MOND.

The win marks a major milestone for Razeek, whose visual approach to BZNS stood out for its gritty realism and psychological depth. Built around the track’s tense and abrasive energy, BZNS unfolds as a fragmented portrait of MOND’s inner world, where loyalty, aggression, intimacy, and identity collide. Rather than following a conventional narrative, the video moves through a series of charged vignettes, with each figure on screen acting as a reflection of the artist’s emotional state.

Shot over the course of nearly 23 hours, the production leaned into a raw, minimalist aesthetic. Razeek assembled a cast of around 50 first-time performers alongside MOND himself, grounding the visual in an unfiltered sense of street realism. A recurring presence of a rabid dog adds to the tension, reinforcing the unpredictable and feral undertones of the piece.
