Bonobo, Rosey Gold to Play Break The Block Party in Dubai Feb 1st

British producer/DJ extraordinaire Bonobo is set to headline ‘Break The Block’, a block party series seizing City Expo Dubai to celebrate the city’s counter-culture through a fusion of food, music and uninhibited creative performance on February 1st.

Organised by UAE’s creative collective Brag World, ‘Break the Block’ draws inspiration from the block party movement, an artistic endeavour aimed at reclaiming public spaces through collective revelry.

Opening for Bonobo is the Lebanese electronic virtuoso Wass, known for his pumping futuro-arab sound, a mixture of contemporary Arabic music, vocal melodies and infectious synth hooks. The night will also include Soulection’s residents; the Netherlands-based R&B artist and DJ JAEL and the South African DJ/producer Rosey Gold. Following suit, Le Hash will be commanding the decks with some Jamaican vibes, fusing dancehall, amapiano, reggae and baile funk, along with Lebanese-Armenian DJ Mathea.
