Delrady Drops Funky House Single ‘Closer To Me’

Building on the momentum of his viral remix of Gawdat’s ‘Cheri Cheri Lady’ - a cut that was plated Seth Troxler played at his Circoloco set in Amsterdam - Egyptian DJ/producer Delrady has reactivated his Plus One Show imprint with new single, ‘Closer To Me’.

The track arrives as a late burst of summery warmth in the, the production leaning into a feel-good tech-house palette, driven by crisp, punchy drums, warm, funky basslines, bright piano chords and disco-tinged vocal chops that give the track its irresistible lift.

Since his emergence on Cairo’s electronic music scene, Delrady has made a name for himself as a promising young producer and selector, thanks to his innovative approach to tech-house, weaving groovy house foundations with threads of classic funk, disco, blues, hip-hop and rap.
