Ramez Naguib Drops Retro-Inspired Technicolour Music Video ‘Embareh’
Directed by Egyptian filmmaker Amr Mahdi, the music video features cross dissolves, giving an ‘everything, everywhere, all at once’ vibe.
Egyptian producer and sound designer Ramez Naguib has recently released a retro-inspired technicolour music video ‘Embareh’. The track, featuring rapper-turned-singer Mahdy Madness on vocals, was initially released as part of Naguib’s latest collaborative ‘Yemken’ earlier in 2024. Directed by Egyptian filmmaker Amr Mahdi, the music video - starring Mahdy Madness and Ramez himself donned in vintage get-ups - features quick 80s-like transitions and overlays that cross and dissolve cinematically, complementing the track’s infectious synth-driven disco beat. Though it is simple, minimalistic and looks almost homemade, the video’s vivid colours and immersive nature give it an ‘everything, everywhere, all at once’ vibe.
