Shuffle | March 26 - April 8
This week on our 'Shuffle', we have standout new releases from Nour, 47Soul and Molotof.
We’re back with a new edition of ‘Shuffle’, our bi-weekly playlist spotlighting the most compelling releases from the Middle East and North Africa across all genres. This week, we’re featuring fresh tracks from Nour, 47Soul, and Molotof.
Algerian singer-songwriter Djouher makes a comeback after two-year hiatus with a striking anti-pop track, ‘I Killed Her’ that centers on transformation and rebirth, while Moroccan artist Hasna further refines her unmistakable fusion of trip-hop and jazz on ‘Le Prix C’etait Moi’. Meanwhile, Jordanian band 47Soul reveals the first preview single of Dualism Pt.2 with an evocative political track, ‘The Signal’.
The playlist also features Egyptian dream-pop songstress Nour with ‘Nesety Nafsek’, which she premiered on COLORS earlier last week, and electronic duo Husa & Zeyada continue their long streak of singles, ‘The End’.
