Shuffle | Oct 8 - Oct 21

In our latest edition of ‘Shuffle’, SceneNoise’s bi-weekly playlist spotlighting standout releases across the MENA region’s diverse musical landscape, we’ve got fresh picks from the likes of BOUMPH!, Fatima Al Qadiri and Messery.

Egyptian producer Messery fuses deep house melodies with ’90s electro on the finely executed ‘La Machine’, while Kuwaiti producer, musician and composer Fatima Al Qadiri returns with her highly anticipated album 3TWI, weaving West Asian folk influences into cinematic dance music. Lebanese indie rock artist Kris Pina leans into melancholy on the acoustic-driven slow-burner ‘Mannik Mishte2e’, while Syrian artist BOUMPH! takes aim at societal expectations with biting irony on the indie rock cut ‘Dammooni Lal Qatee3’.

The playlist also features Jool’s ‘Keep On Searchin’, Almighty Dusty’s ‘Streets of Zamalek’ and Wezza Montaser’s ‘T7T El Mostawa’.
