Miles for Meaning to Host 7KM Run to Support People With Diabetes

‘Miles for Meaning’, a non-profit social impact initiative organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, will officially launch at the Giza Pyramids on Friday, September 18th with a 7KM community run beginning at 8 AM.

Participation is open to runners, families, fitness communities, influencers and corporate teams, with registration fees and sponsorship proceeds going towards providing glucose-monitoring sensors to people living with diabetes who are unable to afford them.

The initiative is intended to increase access to continuous glucose-monitoring technology while also encouraging more active lifestyles through community-based events.

The Giza Pyramids run will be the first in a planned series, with ‘Miles for Meaning’ aiming to organise three to four editions throughout the year.
