Six Dubai Parks Are Giving Away Free Ice Cream for Eid Al Adha

If you’re searching for new ways to celebrate Eid Al Adha with your family, look no further. Six Dubai parks will be giving away complimentary ice cream to park-goers on May 27th, the first day of the holiday, between 5PMand 7PM.

Visitors can find the complimentary ice cream at Creek Park, Mushrif National Park, Zabeel Park, Al Safa Park, Al Barsha Pond Park, and Al Nahda Pond Park.

The initiative is one of the ways that Dubai is creating family-friendly spaces across the Emirate amidst wider Eid preparations. Parks, beaches, and cultural destinations have also been prepared for family visitors as part of the city’s celebrations, with the expectation of large gatherings for picnics, children’s activities, and evening outings.

During the holiday period, parks will stay open for visitors from 8AM through to midnight. This includes Quranic Park, Zabeel Park, Al Mamzar Park, Al Safa Park, Creek Park, and Mushrif National Park. The Dubai Frame will additionally operate from 8AM through to 9PM.

Select public beaches will serve as family-only areas as another part of Dubai’s commitment to crafting safe and inclusive recreational spaces. These include Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and Khor Al Mamzar Beach.

The five-day Eid holiday for public sector employees will continue until Friday 29th of May, according to UAE government announcements. Private sector employees will receive a four-day paid holiday
