Yas Island Opens Bookings for 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
From ticket options and hotel packages to after-race concerts, here's everything you need to know before heading to Yas Island this December.
For one weekend every year, Yas Island becomes Formula 1's playground. By day, fans pack the grandstands of Yas Marina Circuit for practice sessions, qualifying battles, and the season's final race. By night, the crowds spill into Etihad Park for headline concerts, while hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, and attractions across the island stay firmly in Grand Prix mode. Taking place from December 3rd to 6th, the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 is more than a race weekend. It's one of the biggest events on the UAE's calendar, combining world-class motorsport, live entertainment, and a full island escape in a single trip. From ticket options and hotel packages to after-race concerts and theme park access, here's everything you need to know before heading to Yas Island this December.
The Races
Formula 1's season finale returns to Yas Marina Circuit from December 3rd to 6th, bringing four days of practice sessions, qualifying drama, support races, fan experiences, and the final race of the season to one of the calendar's most iconic tracks. Known for its distinctive twilight setting, the race begins in daylight and concludes under the circuit's floodlights, creating one of the most recognisable spectacles in motorsport.
The Tickets
At Yas Marina, where you sit shapes what you see. The Main Grandstand offers views of the start, finish, pit lane action, and podium celebrations. The West and North Grandstands are favourites among fans looking for overtakes and wheel-to-wheel battles, while North Straight puts spectators close to some of the fastest sections of the circuit.
Those looking for a broader perspective can opt for the South Grandstand's sweeping views, while Abu Dhabi Hill delivers a more relaxed, festival-style atmosphere with flexible viewing areas and giant screens.
The Concerts
The racing doesn't end when the chequered flag falls.
Each evening, thousands of fans make their way to Etihad Park for the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, which have become one of the defining features of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.
For 2026, Zara Larsson, Lewis Capaldi, and Imagine Dragons have already been confirmed, with additional international acts expected to be announced in the months ahead. Previous editions have welcomed some of the biggest names in music, turning Grand Prix weekend into one of the region's largest live entertainment events.
The Hotels
Whether you're planning a dedicated Formula 1 getaway or a longer Abu Dhabi escape, hotel packages are designed to keep guests close to the action.
Packages at neighbouring Yas hotels start from AED 4,091, while stays at Yas Island hotels begin from AED 11,070. Both options include a three-night stay, breakfast, and a four-day Grand Prix ticket.
The biggest advantage, however, is convenience. Staying on or around Yas Island places visitors within easy reach of the circuit, the after-race concerts, restaurants, attractions, and entertainment venues that come alive throughout the weekend.
Beyond the Track
Formula 1 may be the headline act, but every package comes with plenty to explore beyond the circuit.
Guests receive one-day access to either Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Yas Island, or teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi. Packages also include entry to Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan, offering the chance to balance high-speed thrills with some of the capital's most significant cultural attractions.
Taken together, the experience transforms a Grand Prix ticket into something much bigger: a full Yas Island holiday built around one of the most exciting weekends on the sporting calendar.
