Arab Nations Add 14 More Medals on Day 7 of the Mediterranean Games

Tarek Hassan claimed the men's 50m apnea title on Day 7. It was his second gold of the Games, having won the 100m surface event the previous day.

Ahmed Hesham won the men's 200m bi-fins title, giving Egypt another gold in finswimming on Day 7. He had already stood on the podium earlier in the Games, taking bronze in the 100m bi-fins.

Soulaimane Samghouli won the men's 65kg boxing final after edging Algeria's Ismail Bekhsis 3–2. The all-North African final went the Moroccan's way in a closely contested bout.

Saida Lahmidi was crowned women's 70kg champion after reaching the final with a stoppage win over Türkiye's Dilara Sak. Her final against France's Maëlys Richol did not take place after Richol withdrew.

Nada Hagrass finished second in the women's 400m surface event. The result came after a strong run of international performances for the Egyptian, who is a multiple-time CMAS World Championship medallist.

Ahmed Awad took silver in the men's 200m surface event. His podium finish came alongside a series of Egyptian results across the finswimming programme on Day 7.

Nabila Abo reached the women's 75kg final after a notable quarterfinal win over French Olympian Davina Michel. She followed that with a 3–2 semifinal victory over Tunisia's Molka Ben Mabrouk before finishing with silver.

Mustapha Abdou reached the men's 80kg final after his semifinal opponent, Greece's Michail Tsamalidis, was disqualified. Abdou went on to take silver after losing 4–1 to Spain's Pablo Coy Bernal in the final.

Fatiha Mansouri reached the women's 51kg final with a 5–0 semifinal victory over Italy's Martina Vassallo. She finished second after losing 4–1 to Spain's Laura Fuertes Fernández in the final.

Widad Bertal took silver in the women's 54kg category after reaching the final with a win over France's Wassila Lkhadiri. The reigning world champion was beaten 4–1 by Italy's Sirine Charaabi in the final.

Emna Ben Hsouna finished second in the women's 100m bi-fins in 48.72 seconds. The result made her Tunisia's only medalist among the Arab nations on Day 7.

Ismail Bekhsis finished with silver in the men's 65kg division after a 3–2 defeat to Morocco's Soulaimane Samghouli in the final. He had reached the title bout with wins over Italy's Davide Fiore and France's Hugo Grau.

Seif Mohmed, Salma Rabeea, Ahmed Hesham and Mariam Hegab finished third in the mixed 4x50m bi-fins relay. The Egyptian quartet secured bronze behind the leading teams in the event.

Mohab Nasreldin finished third in the men's 200m surface event. He had already won gold in the 400m surface event earlier in the Games, making this his second individual finswimming medal in Taranto.
