Saudi Broadcasting Authority Will Launch Third Sports Channel

Saudi Arabia is launching a third sports channel dedicated to the Kingdom’s sporting history, bringing archival matches, classic sports programmes and documentaries back to screens from October 18th, 2026.

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) will officially launch the channel on Sunday at 4 pm. Its programming will feature major sporting achievements and prominent Saudi sports figures, alongside archived matches from local, Gulf, Arab and international competitions in football and other sports.

Viewers can also expect reruns of classic sports programmes and memorable tournaments, revisiting sporting moments from across the years.

The launch is part of the SBA’s efforts to preserve Saudi Arabia’s sporting heritage and make its archives accessible to younger generations, keeping the Kingdom’s sporting milestones in circulation beyond their original broadcasts.
