50 New Business Hotels Are Coming to Saudi Arabia by 2029

Saudi Arabia’s hospitality scene is expanding in a big way, with a new USD 1 billion agreement set to introduce 50 business hotels across the Kingdom over the coming years. Developed through a partnership between US-based Patel Family Office and Dammam-headquartered Abdel Hadi A. Al-Qahtani & Sons, the project will launch under a new platform called AYARA, built specifically with business travellers in mind. Think project teams on short assignments, consultants moving between cities, and corporate staff rotating across key hubs like Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, as well as emerging destinations such as NEOM and the Red Sea region. By 2029, the network is expected to add between 5,000 and 7,000 rooms across major economic corridors, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goals, which aim to attract more than 150 million visitors annually and support large-scale events such as Expo 2030.
