Riyadh’s King Salman International Airport (KSIA) is set to expand with a new terminal capable of welcoming 40 million passengers annually. The expansion—set to begin construction in 2026 and open in 2029—will eventually form part of a six-runway mega-hub that aims to accommodate 120 million passengers by 2030, rising to 185 million by 2050. Once complete, KSIA will replace King Khalid International Airport and become the future home of Riyadh Air.
