Buddha Bar to Debut Its First Global Floating Hotel & Resort in Dubai

An AED3 billion Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Residences is slated for the waters off The World Islands.

Set for completion in 2027, the project marks the first time the Paris-born Buddha-Bar brand —famed for its signature blend of music, mood, and mysticism— will launch a property on the water. The 162-room hotel will feature a full floor of branded residences and a spa that promises to merge Eastern ritual with modern wellness.

The development will also include 24 floating villas, each approximately 4,000 square feet and spread across three levels. They’ll feature underwater bedrooms that open onto coral gardens, rooftop Jacuzzis, and dining decks tailored for dramatic sunsets, and Instagrammable pics. Interiors will favour veined stone, fine wood, and maritime glass, with the option to outfit them with Bentley Home furnishings.

The island’s social pulse will beat at Buddha-Bar Beach, with sunrise yoga, beachside brunches, and sunset DJ sets; essentially a full circadian rhythm of curated chill. It’s all being managed by Yieldhaüs, whose founder Mohamad Issa describes the collaboration as “a defining moment for experiential real estate in the region”.

By 2027, if all goes to schedule, guests will be checking into the first Buddha-Bar Hotel to float, literally.
