Louis Vuitton Opens Colourful Pop-Up for First Dubai City Guide

Louis Vuitton, the renowned French luxury fashion house, has unveiled its latest addition to its City Guides collection, featuring Dubai as the first Middle Eastern destination to be showcased in the ongoing series.

Edited by Butheina Kazim, founder of the city's first arthouse cinema, Cinema Akil, this guidebook provides travellers with insider information and an extensive list of the city's cultural, dining and hospitality highlights.

Dubai's unique customs and practices are also given the spotlight in this guide, including the intricacies of being able to have petrol delivered to your parked vehicle at home, the mesmerising means locals can order chauffeurs by text message, and beep their car horns upon placing corner shop orders.

To celebrate the release of the guidebook, Louis Vuitton has opened a pop-up kiosk in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre's Gate Village, which mimics the same dusky pink hue as the guidebook's cover, and draws on the glow of the sunset glistening atop the desert sands.

As a city that seamlessly blends traditional Arab culture with modernity, Dubai has become one of the world's most popular tourist destinations, attracting visitors from across the globe. Louis Vuitton's City Guide, with its insider knowledge, is a valuable addition to any traveller's itinerary, and its launch highlights the city's growing reputation as a cultural and culinary hub.
