New Ritz-Carlton Resort to Open on the Red Sea in Saudi’s AMAALA
Set to open in 2025, the 391-key resort will feature fitness and recreational facilities, a spa, and event spaces that can accommodate up to 1,500 guests.
Red Sea Global (RSG) and Marriott International are joining forces to bring The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA to life at the northernmost point of Saudi Arabia’s Triple Bay. Set to open its doors in 2025, this marks the fourth collaboration between the two, following the successful launches of The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, The Red Sea EDITION, and Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA will feature 391 rooms, with 80% offering unparalleled views of the Marina Village, the Red Sea, and the Hijaz Mountains. Designed by Foster + Partners, the resort aims to highlight the natural surroundings, incorporating the area's striking sand dunes into its architecture in order to maximise the stunning coastal vistas. Additionally, the architecture will mimic the traditional styles of nearby seaside town A Wajh, and infuse it with modern aesthetics.
Besides a variety of dining venues—including options for sunset dining overlooking the Red Sea—the resort will feature fitness and recreational facilities, a spa, multiple family-friendly pools, direct access to the beach and its outdoor sporting facilities, and event spaces that can accommodate up to 1,500 guests.
When completed, AMAALA will offer over 4,000 hotel rooms across 30 hotels, alongside approximately 1,200 luxury residential units and a collection of high-end retail and dining options. As it evolves, AMAALA is poised to become a premier destination in the region, showcasing the best of luxury and nature along the stunning Red Sea coastline.
