The new route brings the low-cost airline’s weekly flights between the Kingdom and Egypt up to 44.
Saudi low-cost airline flyadeal has launched a new route connecting Jeddah with the Egyptian Nile port city of Sohag. This announcement comes just hours before the airline’s inaugural service linking Medina with Cairo, bringing flyadeal’s weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Egypt to 44.
Sohag, a popular starting point for Nile cruises to Luxor and Aswan, serves as a gateway to a region rich in archaeological, historical, and religious sites, including the Temple of Abydos—one of Egypt's oldest and most beautiful ancient sites.
Founded in 2017 as a budget sister airline for national carrier Saudia, flyadeal now operates nearly 30 year-round and seasonal routes across Saudi Arabia and selected cities in the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa.
